Chanel Haley
Assistant Executive Director

Ms. Haley, after transitioning in the late '90s, found it next to impossible to obtain regular employment, so while working temp jobs, decided to become involved with volunteer work with LaGender, Inc. in early 2000. After having been recruited by Deepali Gokhale and Cheryl Courtney-Evans to participate in the Trans People of Color Worker's Project (TPOC), Ms, Haley dedicated herself to becoming a part of transgender advocacy. The challenge of TPOC reinforcing this dedication, Chanel joined TILTT in September of 2007, and became its Assistant Executive Director in March of 2009.
